Sunday worship

11.00am.

archway methodist church

1st Sunday of each month is a ‘family service’, with the uniformed organisations taking part during term time. 3rd Sunday is usually a service of Holy Communion. There is a crèche and Junior Church which meets every week except for family services, when we worship together.

About us

Archway Methodist Church is a diverse, multicultural congregation which seeks to offer a warm welcome to all.

Our worship, in the Methodist tradition, combines the best of old and new, formal and informal. At present we are developing our music ministry and a newly-formed music group helps lead worship.

Archway Methodist church has deep roots in the local community, the first church on this site being built in 1864. Since then the work of the church has developed to meet the demands of a continually changing neighbourhood. In 1934 the present buildings were erected as Archway Central Hall, purposely built as a centre of mission and service to the Upper Holloway area. Strategically situated at one of the busiest road junctions in London we still seek new and imaginative ways of serving a mixed community of homes, shops and offices. In 1997 the congregation moved from the auditorium-style central hall to a new worship centre which offers a flexible and comfortable environment for worship.

We have close links with other churches in the local area and are part of the Upper Holloway Fellowship of Churches.
