Second Chance Charity Shop is located on St John’s Way around the corner from the entrance to the Archway Methodist Church, and we believe that you will find it worthwhile to make the effort to visit us.
Established in 1995, this year the shop celebrates it's 30th year anniversary, and has gone from humble beginnings to become the area’s premier charity shop. We offer a wide variety of the nearly new, the previously-owned, second hand and vintage goods. From the beginning, Second Chance was intended to be more than a profit making exercise; it plays an important role in outreach to the whole community.
The shop is managed by Barış, John and Mike and staffed by our wonderful volunteers.
We are proud that over the past year, £50,500 was raised owhich we have given away to a variety of local, national and internal charitable causes, with the remainder to be allocated over the next 9 months as need is identified. Find Out more by clicking >HERE<.
Of course, we can only continue to play our part in the community with your support, and we always need donations. New volunteers are always welcome to help us in various ways to ensure the smooth running of the shop. So check us out!
